Achievements, Badges and Reputation
Achievements, Badges, and Reputation
HubMatch tracks two separate signals of player quality: achievements (earned badges) and reputation (peer endorsements). Both appear on your profile.
Achievements
Achievements are unlocked when you cross specific milestones. They fall into five categories:
- Tournament - milestones tied to tournament play (first registration, first win, first championship)
- League - milestones tied to league play (first division promotion, first season completed, leading top-scorer)
- Competitive - milestones tied to competitive performance and rating
- Community - non-competitive contributions (organizing a tournament, completing your profile, linking Discord)
- Milestone - long-term solo progress (first 10 matches, 100 matches, 1000 goals)
Each achievement has a name, icon, and description. When you unlock one, it appears on your profile permanently. There are no tiers or rarities - every achievement is either unlocked or not.
To see your unlocked achievements, visit your profile from the user menu. Achievements you have not unlocked are not shown - only the ones you have earned. To discover what is available to unlock, view another player's profile and see what they have collected.
Reputation
Reputation is separate from achievements. After a completed series you can give opposing players a positive (+rep) or negative (−rep) endorsement; your reputation score reflects the net of these peer endorsements. Endorsements are typically for good sportsmanship, communication, or skill. Each player's running reputation score appears on their profile.
Reputation is not a strict ranking - it is a social signal teams use when recruiting. A strong rep makes you more attractive to captains; a weak rep makes them cautious.
Both achievements and reputation are visible to anyone viewing your profile, including captains scouting for recruitment.
