1v1 Queue
1v1 Queue - Solo Duels
The 1v1 queue puts you head to head against a single opponent. It comes in two flavours - Ranked and Unranked - that share the same flow but differ in how opponents are matched and whether your rating is on the line.
How You Enter
1v1 is a solo-only queue: you join by yourself. You cannot party up for 1v1, since each side is a single player. Your region is auto-detected from your profile and the queue is region-locked, so you only face opponents from your own region. There is no crossplay-code or Discord requirement to join.
There are no positions in 1v1 - it is a positionless format, so you never pick a role.
Ranked vs Unranked
Both modes are two-player duels, both track your 1v1 match stats, and both run a ready check before the match starts. The difference is the matchmaking and the stakes:
- Ranked uses rating-window matchmaking - it looks for an opponent close to your 1v1 ELO - and your result moves that rating.
- Unranked pairs you with the next available opponent (first come, first served) and does not touch any ELO. It is for practice and casual duels.
Ready Check, Lobby and Result
When you are paired with an opponent, both players get a ready check and must accept before the duel goes live. One player hosts a custom Rematch lobby and shares the lobby code through the match interface. After the game, each player reports the result with a screenshot. Both players agreeing finalizes the series; no response within the verification window auto-accepts the result; a disagreement opens a dispute.
ELO Impact
Ranked 1v1 moves your 1v1 ELO, a dedicated rating separate from every other ladder. Unranked 1v1 has no ELO - your rating never changes, win or lose - but your 1v1 stats are still recorded in both modes.
